Say It Isn’t So

It’s official! I shivered today while protesting the cold front coming in by donning my shorts. That dose of reality caused me to change into this summer favorite for the last time. When I take it off, I’ll push it to the back of my closet until the Bluebird returns.
Speaking of this dress, it’s currently marked 55% off at Nordstrom! So if you’re somewhere that still has warm weather, or planning a trip to a sunny destination, or even if you just want to have something waiting in your closet for the first sign of spring, it is a great option.
This dress and matching purse were major conversation openers each time I wore them. Seriously, I made some lasting friendships with people who introduced themselves by complimenting the “cute seahorses.”
These are the last of the pictures that I took when housesitting this stunning Seattle manor. I had such a wonderful time while I was there, and everyone was so friendly. Recently, I received an email from a neighbor who was just checking in. Talk about a welcoming community!
