These pictures were taken as the fall leaves began turning while the summer weather lingered.
I agree with William Cullen Bryant that autumn is “the year’s last, loveliest smile.”
Somehow my camera has a creative mind of its own, as you can see from this change in colors. I didn’t even alter any of the settings. We could say this was a little fall night magic!
It put a smile on my face that lasted all evening long.
