There are so many fun activities packed into the magic season…parties, shopping, caroling, baking, decorating, attending special church services…it all can blitz by before you know it.
That is why one of my favorite traditions is taking some time to relax and enjoy family. My mom and I had a special outing. We stayed at a hotel, got massages, lounged in our pj’s, sipped hot chocolate, enjoyed the fire, and just spent time together. Of course, I wore my red robe. It’s Christmas, after all!
So as this holiday weekend approaches, I hope you can all enjoy the stillness as well as the excitement.
