Savoring Santa Monica

May, 14, 2015

Recently, I wore this blue little number for a girls’ night celebration and that got me thinking about how much I love Santa Monica. A person never tires of this city—the sandy beach, blue water, 100-year-old pier, pedestrian-friendly promenade, and upscale Montana Avenue shops. I bought this dress on a business trip at one the little boutiques along the promenade.

If you’re trying to figure out where you’d like to go for a summer vacay, this place has it all. During the day, you can relax on the beach and surf. In the evening, you can stroll the pier, stop in at the shops, and pick form a plethora of delicious restaurants.

There is just nothing quite like an exquisite Santa Monica sunset, and the city’s reflection as the image of the wheel on the pier melts into the water. The shops are one of my favorite features of this place. Many of them are small and quaint with one-of-a-kind items featuring beautiful detailing as you can see from the adornment on my dress in the first pic. So this city can charm you in every imaginable way.
