Most of my Meeting Men Mondays focus on females, and their dating triumphs or calamities. But today, I have an interesting insight to help any of you guys who find that you’re infatuated with a girl, but she is taking a little longer to get onboard with the relationship. This is normal, according to Dr. Helen Fisher, a New York biological anthropologist who is also senior research fellow at the Kinsey Institute for Research in Sex, Gender and Reproduction.
“Men are so visual,” explains Dr. Fisher. “They see a woman who appeals to them physically, and it will trigger the romantic love system faster.” She extrapolated that women are more careful about guarding their hearts. So guys, the one who has captured your heart just might need a bit more time to fall in love.
